Item 15S - Resolution Directing the Tax Collector to Mail the Motor Vehicle Property Tax Bills After July 1, 2017, but no later than October 2, 2017

WHEREAS, the State of Connecticut has not yet adopted a budget which would include the mill rate to be used for motor vehicle property taxes; and
WHERAS, the Town Council wishes to avoid the potential need and expense of issuing supplemental motor vehicle property tax bills in response to the adoption of the State budget
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the South Windsor Town Council hereby directs the Tax Collector to mail the motor vehicle property tax bills after July 1, 2017, but no later than October 2, 2017.
